Co-founder | Principal Lighting Designer
After graduating as the Valedictorian in Interior Architecture from Istanbul Bilgi University, our founder began his career at prestigious interior design studios. Discovering light as his ultimate medium of expression, he shifted his focus to lighting design. He pursued advanced research at Istanbul Technical University and further specialized at SUPSI in Mendrisio, Switzerland, focusing on the impact of lighting in residential environments.
To refine his craft, he moved to Milan, the global capital of design. Working with world-renowned Milanese firms, he led high-profile retail and residential lighting projects, mastering the balance between technical precision and Italian aesthetic sophistication.
Today, he leads Ween Lighting Design Studio, bringing his international expertise to diverse projects worldwide. From luxury residences and retail landmarks to corporate and educational spaces, he balances technical rigor with the human experience. Beyond artificial lighting, he also provides expert consultancy in daylight and shading analysis, keeping architecture and nature in perfect harmony.
Ayse Turhan

After completing her high school education in Toronto, Canada, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with honors from Istanbul Sehir University. She then completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology for Individuals, Families, and Organizations with high honors at the Università degli Studi di Bergamo in Italy. Throughout her academic path, she gained valuable experience in both clinical and consultancy settings, developing a deep understanding of human dynamics, organizational processes, and cross-cultural communication.
Today, she serves as the Co-Founder and Manager at Ween Lighting Design Studio. She plays a key role in studio management and daily operations, streamlining workflows to ensure the seamless delivery of projects. Bringing a people-centered perspective to the company, she strengthens client relations and fosters strong internal collaboration. Her contributions to project management and process development make her an integral part of Ween’s ongoing growth and success.
